Martin J. Thomas is a senior commercial executive and strategic advisor with deep expertise in building and scaling global luxury travel and hospitality platforms. With more than three decades of leadership experience across hotel brands, travel technology companies, destinations and advisory firms, he has consistently focused on aligning brand strategy, partnerships, sustainability strategies and distribution with revenue growth and long-term enterprise value.

Martin has led global go-to-market strategies, negotiated major commercial partnerships, and guided organizations through periods of growth, transformation, and market entry. His leadership roles have included responsibility for global marketing strategy, brand repositioning, partnership development, value generation in membership organizations and cross-functional teams spanning sales, marketing, communications, and digital operations.

Most recently, Martin served as Vice President at Beyond Green, the sustainability-focused luxury hospitality brand within Preferred Travel Group. He led the company’s strategic relaunch following the founder’s departure, rebuilt internal alignment across teams, expanded the portfolio through strategic alliances, and helped position the business for profitable growth. Under his leadership the brand strengthened its market credibility through alignment with Travalyst sustainability standards and earned Travel + Leisure’s Global Vision Award.

Earlier in his career, Martin helped scale Summit Hotels & Resorts from a start-up brand to a global portfolio of 160 hotels across 50 countries, contributing to the company’s successful acquisition. At TravelPort, he led global B2B marketing strategy supporting distribution and technology solutions that generated more than $124 million in hotel-sector revenue. He has also advised leading international brands including Accor, Rosewood, Taj Hotels, and InterContinental on brand positioning, market entry, and commercial strategy.

Today Martin advises hospitality and travel organizations through MJT Consulting, focusing on North American market expansion, brand positioning, and growth strategy for luxury and sustainability-focused travel brands and destinations.
